I'm going to show you how to draw a caricature. So, basically, you want to do, depending on the person, so the person's face you're drawing, you want to do the outline first, which just gives you the rough area of the face that you're drawing. So therefore, you want to come down, if you start with the forehead, and you come down on the side of the face here. You do one side of the face at a time and then we go around and do this one afterwards. So, we will come down and then you want to come out for some cheeks, and then you come down for the side of the face. We do have quite a long face here. So, we're going to come down for the chin. We can come just out of the oval, it doesn't really make a difference, and we're going to come back up, and on the cheek again. And then, you come up for the top of the head. This is going to have hair going over it anyways, so it doesn't really matter if it's not exact. You want to accentuate the features slightly with the person you're drawing or can do it a lot more than that, if you want to be particularly cruel. So, once you've got the outline of your face, the easiest thing then is probably to work from the nose. So you're going to find roughly, sort of high up here, you want to come down, and you want to come out for the nose and down again. And then, you want to do the nostrils which you go like that, and up and the nostrils there. Render them lightly because we can darken them in when we've got everything where we want it and we've got the shape of the nose. From there, we're going to do the eyes. So, you do the eyes quite close to the nose because if you pull them in closer, it tends to look more like a character; if you do them further apart as in how they really are, then it is going to look more like a portrait. So we're going to follow the eyes like that. And that's the upper-part of the eye. And then, we're going to come down, and you do the lower part of the eyes. Just thicken it up slightly. And for the eyes, depending, some people have got high eyelids, some people have got low ones. We're going to do higher eyelids here. So, they're going to come like that, and then we're going to do the pupils. So we're going to move the pupils in and just shade them in like that, leaving a little bit of white for the eye. Now, you want to do some eyelashes, so you just do a little bit coming off here like that. For the eyebrows, you just basically you do some thick lines, depending obviously on the person's eyebrows themselves. If the eyebrows are quite thick, you can do thick lines like this and we're going to go like that; thicken them up. We can always add a little to them afterwards so it's better to do them a little bit small and just make them a bit more bushy if you need to. That one there goes further along. From there, you're going to do slight marks under the eyes, and we've got the shape there. From here, we need to get to the mouth, so we're going to do quite a long distance between the nose and the mouth on this person. And then, we're going to go for the mouth here and we're going to do the lines for the lips. Once you've got the top of the lip drawn, you can do the middle of the mouth, like that. And from there, then we're going to do the lip; the bottom lip comes in. Once you've got that done, then you can work on the other features. So you tend to have people whom are going to have lines come down here a little bit and you've got like a smaller line come down there. Once you've got these, you're going to do the ears. So, you go over to the side - we'll just darken up the edge of the face first - and then we're going to do the ears. We're going to come out for the ears and back in. Again, if you want to be particularly cruel, you can do huge ears on someone; if the person you're drawing, you're not keen on them, so you come around and just do gradually the shape of the ears. And now, we're go
