Hi. My name is Mik, Mik Brown, at miko-cartoon.com. I'm a cartoonist, and I'm going to show you how to draw some cartoons. Let's have fun. And now I'm going to show you how to draw a cartoon dinosaur. Let's do it. Right big, big, that's what I think of when I think of a dinosaur. Again, very rounded, I think. Nice and, sort of friendly, I guess, and, I hope. So I think that's probably about it. And we want it to be. This is always a problem with cartooning, because you're creating your own animal, really. So, do you do little short legs like that, or do you do long legs like that? It's always difficult to decide. I'm going to do short legs like that. And again, don't forget, you can always rub something out in pencil. I rub out a lot, because I make lots of mistakes. So, no problem, rubbing out. We'll give it big, big, innocent eyes. A little bit sleepy, now that's, yeah. He's got a happy guy, got it smiling, nice and simple. That's wonderful. A little nose, I suppose. Yeah, why not? A bit of shading there with the nose. And on to the long, long neck. And we go on to the body. Oh, nice and rounded, the body, cuz he's nice and fat. There's a long tail. Again, I suppose it's always a good idea with the feet and with the. on the same level with the tail. I think I'll put a few hairs on there. And I think he has a few fins, I suppose, or whatever. Triangles on there, just down to the end of the tail. There we go. Darken up on those. You know, sometimes I much prefer my pencil, to do the original pencillings, and to do the finishing off with pen, because it's so much looser, you know. Sometimes I just want to tighten up, it's too. All this pencil lines gives a nice feeling of movement, don't you think, a nice bit of character. So, you could keep those pencil lines in. It's quite useful, doing a, right, carry on inking. That's, do the neck. Working on the, from the top, down, because I'm always smudging things if I'm not careful. Actually, let's do that. Let's not do all the body, ink the body in like that. Let's mix it with the line of the pencil. Let's put some background in, a few volcanoes. And to give it some size, indicate by putting some trees there. It sort of indicates how big he is. There, there he is, and that's how to draw a cartoon dinosaur.
