How To Draw A Horse Step By Step
Once you have the horse inked in, you can _______ the pencil lines.
Hi, I'm Laura from Creative Drawing Studio in London. We offer art classes for children and adults. In our ten years of teaching we have seen that drawing is a skill that anyone can learn. The first thing we need to do is to get the basic shape of the body with an oval, and then we'll place in two straight lines for the neck and a sort of egg shape for the head. And that's our general structure for a horse. Now we'll place in our legs, so one leg will be in the back. Wider at the top and it comes down a bit narrower and then it has a hoof shape. And another leg inside, like this. Let's draw the front leg, wider at the top, adding the hoof shape. Let's draw the front leg on the other side, front. Angles like this. Now we can add in the ears, which one will point up this way. Just do some triangles for now, and one on the other side like this. And the eye will be placed about here. And we'll add in little dot for the nose. There will be a mane about here and a tail flying out this way. And now it's time to ink in our drawing to get the lines we like, and then we'll erase the pencil lines in the end. Let's take our pencil lines as a guide, and the ear in here. And now, one you have inked in you can erase your pencil lines and there's your horse.
