The first type of business letter that you might see is the type of letter to make an inquiry. You might use this type of letter to use a brochure, or a catalog, or to find more information about a product.Let's talk about a different type of business letter - for example, a sales letter. This type of letter may be used to introduce a new product to a client or past customer. Typically, you would want to include a problem in the letter, and show how you can solve that problem with the product or services that you're offering.In your own business, you may be required to write a letter of acknowledgement. This is commonly known as a letter of receipt. You can use this kind of a letter as a template to be adapted for many other business requests.Also in business, you might be required to place an order. Commonly, this order can be written as an outline, to help you ensure that you receive the products you've requested.In business, you may sometimes receive work that is unsatisfactory. It may be necessary to make a claim. This letter should express that you're not happy, the reasons you're not happy, and your expectations for satisfactory work in the future.
Sometimes in business, you may find that the mistake is yours. In this case, you may be called upon to adjust a claim. This type of letter helps to correct any errors or mistakes. And it helps to make sure that you won't lose any of those customers in the future.
