Hi I'm Nutrition & Fitness Expert JJ Virgin of JJVirgin.com and I'm here today with About.com to share with you my favorite fruits for low carb dieting. And I'm also going to share with you some great, fun things you can do with them.I always start the day with a protein shake. And so what I do is I take some good clean, lean protein, I add some coconut milk, and then I either throw in some sliced peaches or some strawberries. I like to change it up, right? Don't do the same thing every day. And also some Chia seeds or flax seed meal. It's a great way to start the day and the low carb berries or low carb peaches with the protein keeps you energized for hours.Next thing I love to do is to take Greek-style yogurt, and top it with some berries. This is also a great little fast breakfast on the go. And then, for a little treat you can take with you so you never get stuck anywhere, take some raw almonds and mix them with some freeze-dried berries. These are amazing – very low carb, sweet naturally, no sugar added. Mix those two together, keep a baggie in your purse or your briefcase, you're never going to get trapped and give into temptations. So those are my favorite low carb fruits and some great things you can do with them.
