Mila Kunis ('Rachel' in Forgetting Sarah Marshall)

So tell me about working on this. Because it is an R-rated comedy, it's a little different than being on a TV series where you have to watch what you're doing. How freeing is that?

Mila Kunis: "It's incredibly freeing. I have a bit of a potty mouth so it's easier for me to do this. But it's a great group of people and everybody is so nice. It's just a very easy project to be on."

Was there a lot of improvisation? Did they let you throw out whatever you wanted to?

Mila Kunis: "Yeah. You go by the script for like one take, and then afterwards you go and do absolutely whatever you want to do. It's really amazing."

Does that mean we'll get to see a ton of deleted scenes when we get to see the DVD?

Mila Kunis: "I think the discs that are going to come out on DVD are going to be longer than the movie itself. I can promise you that. Yeah, the unedited version's going to be very long."

When people are throwing lines at you that you're not expecting, how easily can you adapt? Do you lose it a lot?

Mila Kunis: "Yeah. I mean, it's not that hard to adapt. I laughed a lot because there's some scenes where it's just, without giving away too much, that were very funny scenes and there's nothing I could do. So halfway through it, yeah, there's a lot of laughing."

Is it easy for you to keep up with what they're doing? Do you always find that rhythm?

Mila Kunis: "I don't know. These people…Russell Brand and Jack McBrayer and (Jason) Segel, they're such amazing improv artists that I just try to keep up."

How was filming in Hawaii?

Mila Kunis: "It's amazing. It's everything that I think anyone ever imagined it to be. It's a pretty amazing job. Like, yeah."

Did you get to do any surfing or anything off the set?

Mila Kunis: "Yeah, I surfed. I went snorkeling. I went horseback riding. I ate fresh coconut every day. It's an experience that I don't think comes around that often."

When you first saw the script, what was it that appealed to you?

Mila Kunis: "It was smart. It was funny, it was sweet. It was Judd Apatow, it was Jason Segel. It was a lot of amazing people involved. The whole package was pretty spectacular."

Is comedy where you're going to stick?

Mila Kunis: "Who knows? It's one of those things where if I find something great that's not comedy, who's to say I won't do it."
