Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the World Premiere of P.S. I Love You.
Hilary Swank ('Holly')

How much fun is it to play opposite Gerard Butler when he's doing a striptease?

Hilary Swank: "Well, what's not to love, right? That's not a bad day at the office, right? Until he flicks his suspender so hard and it gets caught on a piece of furniture. And then he jumps on the bed and it jumps from 12 feet across the room and gives me stitches in my forehead."

Is that the most bizarre injury you've ever had?

Hilary Swank: "Yeah. I mean, how do I do a boxing movie, come out virtually unscathed, and then show up on a romantic comedy set and get stitches in my forehead? You guys tell me. What the heck?!"

Reuniting with Richard LaGravenese, what was that like for you and what's so special about him?

Hilary Swank: "We did Freedom Writers this year together and then we followed it up with P.S. I Love You. He's just such a talented writer and proving to be a fabulous director. We just have something that clicks. I love him. I'll do anything he asks me to do."

Even another romantic comedy? You wouldn't mind that?

Hilary Swank: "I'd love it."

And you'd sing again?

Hilary Swank: "Sure, as long as I don't have to be good at it."

Lisa Kudrow ('Denise')

The relationship between the three women in this is really special. Did you do anything to bond off the set or did that come naturally?

Lisa Kudrow: "It came naturally. These are all pretty easy to get to know women."

Is a script like this, a romantic comedy that's got some meat to it, difficult to find?

Lisa Kudrow: It is. I think it's really hard to find, you know? I love romantic comedies because they're fun, it's nice, you know? But it's really great if there's one that's just a tiny bit more substantive like this is. It's not predictable."

Did you throw in any of your own lines or was that all scripted, especially when you're making these men feel uncomfortable in bars?

Lisa Kudrow: "That was scripted."

Do you usually do a lot of improv?

Lisa Kudrow: "Well, sometimes, like if there's a cross and there's not a line to cover it. But you know Richard is also one of the best writers in the world so..you don't need to improvise."

James Blunt (Soundtrack Artist - Same Mistake)

Do you get approached a lot to help out with movies?

James Blunt: "You know, I've talked about it a lot. I guess at the moment I'm just writing songs about my own experiences, and so I haven't had much time to specifically write for movies. Who knows what will happen in the future, but for now I'm just busy recording albums."

Does it take that much more time if you were approached to do a song for a movie?

James Blunt: "Well I guess, as I say, what I'm doing is I'm connecting 10 songs to each other. They take people on an emotional journey themselves. They're a little soundtrack in that way. For me, my albums are 40 minutes long and it's a body of work. We often focus on individual singles, don't we, in this day and age? But actually as a musician, it's not about just one song at a time. It is about this body of work – the album. So for me to go and focus on that takes a fair bit of time and a bit of concentration, and a bit of life experience before that."

What made you say yes to P.S. I Love You?

James Blunt: "Because rather than me having to write specifically for it, they heard my album. They really connected with one song and they took that song and applied it to the movie."

Have you seen the movie yet and how does it apply?

James Blunt: "Yes, I've seen it. It's good. It works really well. The song is from a very human perspective about my life experience and this movie is all about human emotion."
