Rebecca Murray from About.com Hollywood Movies at the World Premiere of License to Wed.
Mandy Moore ('Sadie Jones')

How was working with John Krasinski and Robin Williams?

Mandy Moore: "It was the best summer I've ever had. I got to show up to work every day and laugh. Both Robin and John are just the sweetest, most charming… I really enjoyed myself."

They like to improvise. Do you like to improv?

Mandy Moore: "I never dipped my toe into that water. No, you know what? It's not my job. I sort of let John do his thing and Robin do his thing. I knew my place. I just sort of kept us on the script. I was like, 'Let's propel this scene forward, guys.'"

You were steering the boat.

Mandy Moore: "I had the most important job. I was steering the boat."

You know, the robot babies in this totally freak me out. Were they weird to work with?

Mandy Moore: "They freak everyone out. They're heavy and they smelled weird. They were really just sort of disruptive. They didn't work when they were supposed to. They were not my favorite. "

What kind of a test would you put a couple through if they were going to get married?

Mandy Moore: "I would say good old plan like just therapy, like sort of a marriage counseling/couples counseling sort of thing, yeah. That would be my [idea]. I don't think any of this driving blindfolded nonsense. "

Speaking of driving blindfolded, have you ever done any stunts?

Mandy Moore: "No."

Why don't they do that to you?

Mandy Moore: "Because do I look like remotely athletic? I'm clumsy. I am clumsy and awkward. There's no way that I'm going to be doing anything physical anytime soon. "

Eric Christian Olsen ('Carlisle')

How much improv was in your scenes?

Eric Christian Olsen: "A ton. I don't know how much they left in. There's a lot of improv. [Ken] Kwapis is great about that. He really let…because you've got Robin Williams and John Krasinski and Mandy Moore and me, and that's kind of all of our training is improv. So, you know, sometimes it worked and he used it and sometimes it didn't and he went back and kept shooting. He knew what he wanted and he always kind of kept us on the right path to get to that place."

I can imagine there would be an R-rated cut of this somewhere.

Eric Christian Olsen: "My god, yeah, if you would have had a documentary crew. The behind the scenes is essentially Knocked Up. It's R-rated. I mean, Robin's so quick and funny and sharp, and so is John. We definitely went to some fun, dark places that were R-rated. I'm sure there is. Maybe they'll crank one out in like seven months on DVD, the R-rated version."

What kind of test would you put a couple that's going to get married through?

Eric Christian Olsen: "I think this is a pretty good one. I think that, you know, you create this artificial environment where things go dreadfully wrong and you see what this person's really like."
