How To Apply Eyeliner On Bottom Lid

Hi, I'm Faye from simplyfaye dot co dot uk. I've been a makeup artist for 20 years and I'm going to give you some tips on how to apply makeup. In this video, I'm going to show you how to apply eyeliner on the bottom of the eye. I'm going to use small pointed brush for this and I'm also using a gel waterproof eyeliner. I'm going to dip my brush into the pot and come on to the eye. The first thing I'm going to do is pop a little bit underneath the eye, not right inside the eyelid but just underneath just to contour and gently blend that in. If you make any mistakes, you can always use a cotton bud to correct any blobs that you make. I'm also not going right into the corner of the eye. I'm going, say, 2/3 of the way across. If you go right into the corners, sometimes it can close up the eyes particularly if someone's got smaller eyes. Now, I'm actually going to place some eyeliner inside the lid so on that sort of fleshy bits. Close the eye. This is not suitable for someone that has smaller eyes but someone that has larger eyes, it can create a really good effect. So, I'm just going to stretch the skin down there and apply the eyeliner right inside the eye. Again, I'm not going right into the corner. If you wanted a really high-fashion smoky look, you could go right into the corner but again it's best suited for someone that has larger eyes rather than smaller. And that's how you apply eyeliner on the bottom of the lid. .
