Information About SoHo

SoHo is the acronym for "South of Houston" Street and SoHo itself comprises an area in lower Manhattan from Canal Street to Houston and from Lafayette Street to The Hudson River. When people think of SoHo they think of the artist scene from the 1970's and 80's – when artists pioneered the neighborhood and cleared the way for both today's more mainstream and exclusive shopping experience.Starting on the western most section. Soho now boasts the beautiful piers along the Hudson River, manicured parks, and a view to the new development at Ground Zero. Walking along Canal Street brings you to the heart of Soho with famous Street names like Prince and Sping, Mercer and Broadway.
