How to Win Rummy
Keep an indifferent composure to avoid ____________ that you are studying the direction of the game.
Hi, this is Angela with About.com and today I'm going to show you how to win at Rummy. Rummy is a fun card game enjoyed by many and is best played with 2 to 4 players. If you already have the basics of how to play Rummy, you may want to start upping your odds of winning. To gain a better score, don't hold onto large cards for too long, as the game could end at any moment. You want to play promising runs. Instead of holding onto kings, play on a six-seven possible run. You have a much better chance of getting an eight or a five than a king.Pay very close attention to what cards are picked from the discard pile. This leaves clues on what melds your opponents are working on and what cards you may not want to discard from your hand just yet. Try not to give your opponents the same advantages. Switch up your strategy to be unpredictable and leave your opponent confused.Keep an indifferent composure and stay unreadable. Don't be obvious that you are studying the direction of the game. Try to discard the least useful cards to your opponents. Try to calculate and predict the games outcome and do what you can to have good odds on your side. Just keep playing the game. Building good strategy and style will take some time and experience. Thanks for watching! To learn more, visit us on the web at About.com.
