This is a handy little dance that will help you get around a crowded ballroom dance floor. Now we're not showing you today the more complicated slow foxtrot. But just this useful little dance to help you move around the floor. The timing of the social foxtrot is slow-quick-quick-slow-quick-quick-slow. Gentlemen we start with our weight on the left foot, and we take a step forward with the right foot. Taking a step to the side, and closing the feet together, and then another step to the side. Now we're going back on the right foot, taking a step to the side, closing the feet together and taking a step to the side.Ladies now it's your turn. Your weight is based on your right foot. You're going to take a step back on the ball of your left foot. Sliding along the ground like that. Now your going to take a step to the right on your right foot, and close your feet together. Now your going to take another step to the right on your right foot, This time you'all feel the man putting forward and your going to take a step forward, use your heel, step between his feet on the left foot. Then take a step to the side on your right foot, and now close your feet together. And then take a step to the right on your right foot. This time you'all feel the man coming forward, so take your left foot and slide feet turn on the ground, and take a step back on your left. Now take your right foot to the side, bring your left foot to right foot and close your feet. And take a step to the right on your right foot. Now when we speed that up it looks like this.
