If you want to divide tow fractions, there is something quite simple and easy we can do. Let say we want to divide three fifths.you want to divide that by five sixths. Now the first thing to remember here is that division and multiplication are inverse operations, which means they do the opposite of each other. Just to show you an example, if we have 3 multiplied by 4, this equals 12. If we then divide 12 by 4, you get back to 3. So, multiplication and division are inverses.they bring things back to where they were. What we can do here then is say that this is the same thing as three fifths multiplied by the inverse of this number here. The inverse of a fraction is where we just flip it upside-down. and now multiplication of fractions is a much easier scale. What we do is we multiply the 3 and the 6 on the numerator and we multiply the two 5's on the denominator. 3 times 6 is 18.and 5 times 5 is 25.and this is our final answer. Three fifths divided by five sixths is 18 divided by 25.and we found that by realizing that division and multiplication were inverse operations and finding the inverse of this number. Follow it through.did our fractional multiplication and got our answer and this is how to divide fractions by each other.
