Nina Dobrev, Malcolm David Kelley, Brooke Lewis Interviews
音量

Nina Dobrev: "It's amazing. It's so cool. Every single day is a challenge. I get to go back in time into different periods and different eras, and I get to be the nice girl and I get to be the crazy, maniacal blood-sucking bitch. It's fun."

Which one is the more fun one to do?
Nina Dobrev: "They both satisfy me in different ways."

Have you seen people dressing up as your character here?
Nina Dobrev: "I haven't seen anyone yet. There are?"

There are. Is it weird to be inspiring a costume?
Nina Dobrev: "That's awesome. You know, it's funny because I heard recently that Justin Bieber had his own packaged costume at like costume stores. You can buy a Justin Bieber wig and it says 'Justin Bieber' on it. It's funny. It's a fun little tidbit, fun fact that I learned recently."

Malcolm David Kelley: "Well no. No, they didn't answer all of my questions. But it answered a lot, definitely."

What's the most common reaction you've gotten from fans of Lost on the series finale?
Malcolm David Kelley: "They all come up to me and they want all the answers, you know? They want more answers. I try and answer as many as I can, but I don't even have all of them. The writers have them and they keep them stored in their heads somewhere, you know?"

You should write your own answers and just start giving them out.
Malcolm David Kelley: "Yeah. Or just shoot my own little episode with my own little answers. There we go."

They could do a Lost movie. Would you be up for that?
Malcolm David Kelley: "I'm down for that. Let's just bag it and tag it now. Let's do that. That sounds great."

You've also got a show coming up.
Malcolm David Kelley: "Right. Gigantic on TeenNick. Great show. Great, great show. It airs Fridays at 8 o'clock so definitely catch that. And we're about three episodes in running so far so definitely catch on, get those reruns and catch up on the show."

So you're not burned out on series TV?
Malcolm David Kelley: "Oh, no. Definitely keep going."

What's the best thing about coming to a SCREAM Awards?
Malcolm David Kelley: "I love the fans. You see like the makeup - they don't have that at any other awards show. Like they go full out here, so SCREAM Awards 2010, let's go baby."

Brooke Lewis: "That's a great question. How do you get it? I really think a true Scream Queen - and I'm so honored to have that title because there's so many Scream Queens over the years both in independent horror genre and in mainstream film. And so I kind of think it's a title that's bestowed upon you. I think a real Scream Queen, you know, I don't think you just kind of call yourself a Scream Queen. I did a few horror thrillers and next thing you know I'm getting fan mail and they're calling me a Scream Queen, and all the horror sites are writing about me. It's like the coolest thing ever. I worked in so many genres and being a Scream Queen, I think it's like a huge honor. I think it's a powerful, sexy woman."

And you're writing your own stuff now, right?
Brooke Lewis: "I have written, I co-directed my Miss Vampy web series. I wrote Vamp It Out with my partners. Yeah, I'm doing all of it. Producing... I was one of the executive producers on Robbie Bryan's iMurders. I was one of the executive producers on Ken Del Vecchio's Kinky Killers with Charles Durning and Michael Pare. I'm doing it all. You have to."

You get to take more control of your career.
Brooke Lewis: "Exactly. That was the point. I started Philly Chick Pictures, my production company, many years ago so that I could leverage for better female roles in horror/sci-fi, everything."
